Mission

Open Heart House is a centre of warmth, welcome and acceptance, which actively embraces and supports people living with HIV and AIDS. The centre encourages a positive approach to living with HIV and AIDS through facilitating a supportive network of peers nationwide in an environment of confidentiality and safety.

Through a process of partnership, OHH involves members centrally in the running and development of the project. OHH provides a range of support services to people living with the virus regardless of race, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender or disability status.

OHH works and collaborates with members, other agencies and Health Boards to educate and disseminate knowledge about the illness so as to continually nurture and develop a climate of hope and acceptance for those living with and affected by HIV and AIDS.
